TYPE LOCALITY: Surinam.
BELIZE RECORDS: Augustine.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: adult illustrated in black and white by Kimball (1965) plate 17, figs. 13, 14, 15.
NOTES: the adult is extremely variable. The larva is the ‘Velvetbean caterpillar’ - a pest of beans and peas.
