DISTRIBUTION: C. & S. America; Antilles.
TYPE LOCALITY: West Indies.
BELIZE RECORDS: Greenhills; Pook’s Hill.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: by comparison with specimens in my collection from the West Indies identified as this species by Bernard Lalanne-Cassou, Paris.
NOTES: this species appears to be a characteristic one, unlikely to be mistaken for anything else.
