DISTRIBUTION: S. & C. America; Antilles.
TYPE LOCALITY: Cuba.
BELIZE RECORDS: Pook’s Hill; Maya Beach; Lamanai.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: by comparison with identified specimens in my collection from the West Indies. Adult illustrated in black and white by Kimball (1965) plate 14, fig. 5.
NOTES: this appears to be a characteristic species, unlikely to be confused for anything else.
