Hemeroblemma opigena

DISTRIBUTION: southern USA; C. & S. America; Antilles.
TYPE LOCALITY: Jamaica.
BELIZE RECORDS: La Milpa.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: By comparison with specimens in my collection from the West Indies identified as this species. The adult is illustrated in black and white by Kimball (1965) plate 10, fig. 24 (male).
NOTES: the male and female are very different, as illustrated here.
