DISTRIBUTION: C. & S. America; Antilles.
TYPE LOCALITY: Surinam.
BELIZE RECORDS: Greenhills.
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: kindly identified for me by Bernard Lalanne-Cassou, Paris. Illustrated by Feige (1977) plate 5. fig. 4 and plate 6 fig. 1. Feige (1977) revises the entire genus. Other species in this genus from Belize are in my collection and should be identified soon.
