Type locality: Haiti.
E. Caribbean records: Montserrat; Guadeloupe; Dominica; Grenada.
Grenadines records: Bequia, Quatre, Mustique (E.U. Exp., No. 38).
Method of identification: illustrated in black and white by Amsel (1956) pl. 95, figs. 4 & 5 (adult) and pl. 43, fig. 3 (genitalia).
