SUBFAMILY DESCRIPTION
The subfamily EVERGESTIINAE are mostly found in the cooler parts of the old world,
but a few species are tropical and subtropical. The known larvae are web-feeders
on Crucifers and the family Capparidaceae. Some species are diurnal. Heppner (1995) lists
36 named species from the Neotropics in this subfamily.
