Distribution: South and Central America; Greater Antilles.
Type locality: Honduras.
Synonyms: Craspedia approbata Warren 1900; Craspedia atomaria Warren 1897; Acidalia responsaria Walker 1861; Craspedia trias Warren 1904.
Source of record: listed by Gowdey (1926) as 'Acidalia apparitaria'; Jamaica is Type Locality of Craspedia atomaria.
Method of identification: this species is currently not known to me.
