Distribution: (species) South America; (subspecies) Greater Antilles.
Type locality: (species) Brazil; (subspecies) Jamaica.
Synonyms: Drepanodes absconditaria Walker 1863.
Source of record: Jamaica is Type Locality of ssp. filiferata.
