Distribution: Greater and Lesser Antilles.
Type locality: Jamaica.
Synonyms: Acidalia flavomarginata Moeschler 1890; Acidalia opulentaria Moeschler 1890; Rhodostrophia rubripictata (treated as subspecies by Herbulot) Hampson 1895.
Source of record: listed by Gowdey as 'Acidalia vinacea'; M.J.C.B. collection.
Method of identification: my specimens kindly identified by M. Claude Herbulot of Paris.
Notes: both typical vinacea and form rubripictata (as illustrated) are present in Jamaica.
