Distribution: Mexico; Guatemala; Puerto Rico; Hispaniola; Cuba; Jamaica.
Type locality: Jamaica.
Synonyms: Miselia centrochlora Dyar 1914.
Source of record: listed by Gowdey (1926) p. 62 (as 'Polia parvula').
Method of identification: illustrated in black and white by Todd & Poole (1981)
p. 185, fig. 2 (adult) and figs. 5 & 8 (genitalia).
Notes: this species was misidentified as L. parvula Herrich-Schaeffer 1868
until the revision
by Todd & Poole (1981). The distribution of L. parvula is Cuba and Florida
only.
