Galleria mellonella

Distribution: worldwide where bees are kept.
Type locality: Sweden.

Method of identification: illustrated in black and white by Kimball (1965) pl. 26, figs. 11 & 12.
Notes: the larva is the 'Wax Moth' - it feeds on honeybee wax.
