Pareuchates insulata

DISTRIBUTION: Central America; Caribbean (except Trinidad); north-western South America.
TYPE LOCALITY: Jamaica.
NICARAGUA RECORDS: .
METHOD OF IDENTIFICATION: by comparison with identified specimens from Jamaica in my collection; the distribution map given by Cock & Holloway (1982) suggest that of the whole insulata species complex only insulata itself is found in Nicaragua.
NOTES: This species forms part of a species complex, distinguishable only by genitalial dissection. Male genitalia of all the species involved are illustrated by Cock & Holloway (1982).
