Hyblaeidae
The Hyblaeidae are a very small family of about 20 species found throughout the new and old
world tropics and subtropics. Their taxonomic position is unclear - at various times
they have been associated with
the Pyralidae and at other times with the Noctuidae, but at present the family is
placed in its
own superfamily - the
Hyblaeoidea.
I have recorded only one species of this family from the Grenadines to date, as
listed below -
